ABOUT THE AUTHOR

GBRK Prasad is working as Associate Director, Supply Chain at Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd., Hyderabad, India's second largest pharmaceutical company by sales. He has over 25 years of experience in the Indian corporate sector across different verticals like automobiles and pharmaceuticals, along with a stint in academics. A graduate in mechanical engineering from IIT Delhi, PGDIE from NITIE, Mumbai, MBA from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute, he pursued his PhD from Osmania University, and is a fellow member (CFPIM) of The Association for Operations Management (APICS). He has authored two books titled Corporate Performance Improvement: A Practitioner's Perspective and How to Choose Winning Stocks - Rewriting Formulas for Investment. The above two books reflect the innovative thinking the author has showed in developing concepts useful for better profitability and wealth creation in private sector. In addition, the author has published many articles for reputed journals, magazines and newspapers such as The Hindu Business Line, The Hindustan Times, Indian Management, Express Pharma, Pharma Bio world, Materials Management Review and many others.
